register for trials with Belmont youth fc academy

Young talents aspiring to join the ranks of Belmont Youth FC typically embark on a structured journey through our academy system. This process begins with intensive training with our Academy Head Coach, Leon Millwood where promising players, often from a very young age, are identified and invited for trials with our main teams. If successful, they are integrated into the main teams, where they undergo rigorous training tailored to their age group and developmental stage. This involves not only technical and tactical coaching but also a strong emphasis on physical conditioning and psychological development. As players mature and demonstrate consistent improvement, they progress through various age-group teams within the academy with the option of one to one training sessions. Throughout this period, they are continuously assessed by our UEFA C Qualified Head Coach. Opportunities to train with older age groups or even the reserve squad may arise for particularly promising individuals, providing a taste of higher-level football. The ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between academy and first team, and this often involves a period of integration where top academy prospects train regularly with the first team, participate in friendly matches, and potentially make their debut in cup competitions before eventually earning a spot in one of the first teams and becoming a permanent fixture in the squad.
